Students of Deepdene Primary School were entertained by the performance team of Cultural Infusion.
Students in Year 4 -6 watched, ‘Vive La France’ a humorous representation of some of the events and people that shaped France’s culture and history. We learnt about the French Revolution, the Moulin Rouge and met historical icons like Marie-Antoinette, Joan of Arc, Louis XVI and Napoleon.
Les Bâtons Français entertained the junior school as they followed Jacques and Pierre’s journey across France to try and fulfill their wish of finding true love! The show was fun and zany and referred to many French icons and French literature, including stories such as Cyrano De Bergerac and the Three Musketeers.
